Week in Review: Jan. 9-13, 2012

It's a miracle we even completed school this week. At some point during the week, every single person at Conner Academy, except Daddy Jayhawk, came down with the stomach flu. Oh yes. Now that I and the washing machine have survived, it's somewhat funny how we all went down like dominoes. Each morning another child woke up sick.

Math In Math Mammoth the children worked on adding groups of tens and units to make the numbers 11-40. BamBam worked more on thousand, ten-thousand, and hundred-thousand addition. Primpress worked on remaining addition facts in MUS.

Language Arts Spelling, grammar, and writing were all completed.

History We studied the Greek gods and goddesses. Mostly we read library books.

Other A little work on zoology this week with Daddy Jayhawk. We started the New Testament in Bible study, starting with the birth of Jesus. Lots of home-ec, aka laundry.

Next week will be better.
