A String in the Harp by Nancy Bond

This book came recommended to me by another mom over at homeschooling forum. I am so thankful for well-read Moms. I loved this book. I savored it. The story is of a widower and this three children. They are rapidly drifting apart over all the changes in their lives. Then one day, young Peter finds a mysterious artifact. The artifact, a harp key, has strange powers in Peter's hands.

I read a little bit each night. The pacing was perfect, I loved every single character, and now I have a sudden urge to go to Wales. Even though this is technically a children's book, I would recommend it for children AND adults.
